“Hey Alex, it’s too bad you don’t tour anymore.”

Well, after hearing those things so many times, I decided to answer them all with one fell swoop.

Later this month, I’m going to be embarking on a 2-week STAY VOCAL tour across the United States with singer/songwriter Dandelion Snow. The tour is called the ReUse And Schmooze Tour, because well, that’s exactly what we’ll be doing every night.

Each night, Roger Harvey (Dandelion Snow) and I will be setting up a STAY VOCAL merchandise booth at a different venue (mostly coffee shops!) and talking to people about what reuse apparel is all about. In addition to a brief formal talk that I’ll be giving, Roger will perform an all acoustic set, as well as speak briefly about his involvement with STAY VOCAL and how we came to know each other.  By featuring Dandelion Snow on the tour, it will show how ReUse Apparel can easily be part of touring, specifically through band merchandise.

While many of the dates (see below) are confirmed, we’re still locking down some of them. If you know of any possible coffee shops for our “TBA” shows, please email mike@soundthesirenagency.com.

I can’t tell you how excited I am about this tour. Ever since I “retired” from touring with bands in 2007, I have been itching to get back on the road, but with STAY VOCAL. I’m looking forward to meeting a lot of my customers in person and seeing a lot of my friends and family that I haven’t seen in a long time too. And of course, I can’t wait to meet a lot of new customers and friends too!
